Hail is a free, open-source application that enables users to freeze unnecessary Android apps to enhance device performance and conserve battery life. Freezing an app disables, hides, or suspends it, preventing it from appearing in the launcher or app list. Suspended apps, available on Android 7.0 and later, appear in grayscale with stopped activities and notifications.
