Mystic BBS alternatives
Mystic BBS was created in 1995 and first released in 1997 after the author was dissatisfied with the customization options and stability of other BBS software. It became widely used among SysOps due to its ease of customization and user experience, especially for those interested in ANSI art and BBS modding. Over time, Mystic expanded to support multiple platforms, including Linux, Windows, and macOS, and transitioned to open source in 2011.
