Orbit Downloader was a Windows-based download manager initially released in 2006. Development ceased in 2009, and subsequent versions were identified as containing malicious components capable of participating in distributed denial-of-service attacks. Due to this discovery, the software is now widely recognized as malware and is unavailable from most download platforms.
