Phosphene alternatives
Phosphene enables users to set any video compatible with AVFoundation as their macOS wallpaper. It allows selecting videos for both desktop and lock screen through System Settings, with playback continuing smoothly even after the app is closed. The app supports looping videos, individual wallpapers for each display and Space, and adjusts playback based on system conditions like battery life and thermal pressure.
