ShakeAlertLA notifies users in Los Angeles County about earthquakes with a magnitude over 5.0 or level IV intensity, warning them of potential shaking. It is available for Android and iPhone, in English and Spanish, and offers earthquake preparedness, information, and post-event assistance. Developed by the City of Los Angeles, it is based on the ShakeAlert system by the U.S. Geological Survey.
